Plasmasphere density

The nowcasting of the plasmaspherei is rebuilt every hour and is using:

• the plasmaspherei model developed by V. Pierrard and K. Borremans (access model)
• the IRF Kpi forecast

The principles of the model are described in detail in Pierrard and Stegen (2008). The model has been recently coupled to the ionospherei (Pierrard and Voiculescu, 2011).
